Aadhar Enrolment centre for school students inaugurated at GBHSS Rajouri

Rajouri: Assistant Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Ashraf, in presence of Chief Education Officer, Gulzar Hussain, today inaugurated an enrolment centre for school students here at Government Boys Higher Secondary School.
On the directions of Principal Secretary to Government School Education Department, Asgar Samoon and under the supervision of Project Director, Samagra Shiksha JK, Arun Manhas, the Directorate of Samagra Shiksha has started Aadhar enrollment of the school going and dropouts children up to higher secondary level (age group 5-18 years).
It was informed a total 153638 students in the age group of 5 to 18 are targeted to be covered through 28 centers established across the district.
The Chief Education Officer informed that these centres will be kept in camp mode so that the benefits/ service will be provided i the nearby schools as well.
