Sufficient availability of Oxygen, Industries will also get oxygen – Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the situation of corona in the state is constantly improving. There has been a decline of 37 percent in new cases of corona in the state in the last 3 weeks. The state’s recovery rate has gone up to 88.4 and a large number of patients are recovering every day. The number of active patients, which had reached above 20000, has now come down to 14932. There has also been a significant decline in the fatality rate in the state and now it has come down to 1.78 percent.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that adequate number of beds are available in corona hospitals in all the districts of the state and there is also adequate availability of oxygen. Industries will also get oxygen as per their requirement. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed all collectors and officials concerned to take special precautions during the upcoming festivals and keep corona related preparations ready in all districts for the winter season.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation of Corona and arrangements in the state via video conferencing today. Minister for Medical Education Shri Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman and other were present at the meeting.
Health Secretary GoI holds detailed review, keep cold chain ready for vaccine
Additional Chief Secretary Shri Suleman said that the situation of corona in Madhya Pradesh was reviewed in detail by the Health Secretary, Government of India Shri Luv Agrawal today. The situation of corona in Madhya Pradesh is constantly improving. The Union Secretary has given instructions regarding the arrangement of cold chain in the state for the corona vaccine in the coming times. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed to ensure action accordingly.
Highest cases in Indore and Bhopal
During the district-wise review, it was found that the highest new cases of corona are in Indore and Bhopa. In Indore 418 new cases of corona have come up and 213 new cases in Bhopal. However, the growth rate of corona in all the districts is continuously declining. The growth rate of Corona in Indore is 1.59 percent and at the same time, it is 1.15 percent in Bhopal.
Significant improvement in situation in Gwalior, Morena and Ujjain
It was found in the review that there has been a significant improvement in the situation of corona in Gwalior, Ujjain and Morena districts, where there was more corona infection in the past,. In Gwalior 50 new corona cases have come up and the corona growth rate is 0.51% there. Similarly, 10 new corona cases are found in Ujjain with corona growth rate of 0.51%. There are 8 new cases of corona in Morena and the corona growth rate is 0.27% there.
Pay special attention to Balaghat and Sehore
During the detailed review of Balaghat and Sehore districts, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed the collectors of the respective districts to pay special attention to control corona. There are 305 active corona patients in Balaghat, corona growth rate is 2.57% there and average 36 new cases are coming up daily. There are 376 active corona patients in Sehore, the growth rate of corona is 2.11 percent there and average 38 new patients are found there every day. On 45 new cases in Harda district, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed the collector to take special precautions.
55 percent patients under Home Isolation
Health Secretary Shri Suleman informed that 55 percent of the total corona patients in the state are in home isolation, while 45% of the patients are admitted in hospitals. Patients under home isolation are being continuously monitored through the Control and Command Centre, set up in every district.
