‘NXTDIGITAL DURGOTSAV’ – NXTDIGITAL Ltd. announces the launch of its new consumer connect program for Durga Puja
Delhi: As the country gears up to welcome Goddess Durga this October, NXTDIGITAL, the media arm of the Hinduja Group, has launched a consumer connect program – ‘NXTDIGITAL DURGOTSAV!’ The consumer connect program is launched with an aim to spread the message that though the festivities may be diluted due to the challenges of the pandemic, one can still celebrate the festival of their revered Ma Durga through the company’s unique Durga Pujo initiative.
As part of this initiative, NXTDIGITAL would encourage consumers to record videos of themselves performing under three categories, namely – ‘song’, ‘dance’ and ‘recitation’ and upload the same on durgotsav.nxtdigital.in starting from 17th Oct 2020 till 23rd Oct 2020. This will be further promoted across NXTDIGITAL’s social media channels and website.
Select participants will get a chance to feature on the television channels of INDigital and NXTDIGITAL network as a part of this video contest during the 5 days of the festival. Moreover, video entries will be judged and the top three videos in the three stand a chance to win attractive gifts by answering a simple question.
Commenting on this initiative, Rajdeep Rudra, Head of Marketing and Brand at NXTDIGITAL Ltd, said “The unprecedented success of a similar initiative “Ganpati Bappa Morya” to celebrate the festival of Lord Ganesha earlier this year, spurred us into extending the model to celebrate the festival of Ma Durga. We want to help our customers feel connected to Ma Durga and commemorate her in the same way as it has been done before, nonetheless from the comfort of their homes. Through this initiative, our aim is to capture the essence of the festival, promote the feeling of joy and one-ness and spread the message of building a safe environment – even if it is done virtually.”
Shortlisted videos will also be edited and broadcast on INDigital and NXTDIGITAL (HITS) channels from 22nd Oct to 25th Oct i.e. the entire Durga Puja.
