Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi Ranked in Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2021 by Subject

New Delhi: Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi has been ranked 401–500 in Computer Science in the 2021 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject. The Times Higher Education’s (THE) Annual World Subject Rankings cover 11 subject areas, giving an overview of the best places in the world to study a chosen discipline. A record 1512 institutions were ranked in the 2021 Subject Rankings across the 11 subject areas, with 522 newly ranked institutions this year. The 11 subject rankings were published officially on the Times Higher Education World University Rankings website on 28th October 2020.

Since its inception in 2008, the Institute has grown to be recognized as one of the most promising young institutions for education and research in India as well as abroad. In recognition of its performance, IIIT-Delhi has earned itself a position in many prestigious institute rankings all over the world. Recently THE World University Rankings ranked IIIT-Delhi at 6001-800. The institute was ranked 41 by QS India University Ranking 2020 and 192 by QS BRICS ranking 2019. NIRF also ranked IIIT-Delhi at number 56 in the year 2020. With its ingenious research work, state-of-the-art facilities and world-renowned faculty, IIIT-Delhi has committed itself to providing eminent education in IT and interdisciplinary areas and will continue to do so.
