DPEO orders change of ROs’ Headquarters

Jammu: In order to facilitate the smooth conduct of Panchayat by-elections 2020, the District Panchayat Election Officer, Anantnag today ordered the change of ROs’ Headquarter from Block Hq Sagam to Govt. Degree College Irkumu Kokernag, from CFC, Khiram to Higher Secondary School Khiram and from FCI, Mirbazar to Higher Secondary School Vessu.

Meanwhile, preparations for DDC elections and Panchayat and ULB by-elections, 2020 are going on smoothly in the district.

A thorough training session for the officials associated with the elections was also held today under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Development Anantnag, Nisar Ahmad Malik who is the Nodal Officer for Training Management in the district.
