CREDAI applauds the ‘Dharani portal
Hyderabad: The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India, CREDAI Hyderabad leadership team led by Mr. P. Rama Krishna Rao, President, CREDAI Hyderabad; Mr. V. Rajashekar Reddy, General Secretary, CREDAI Hyderabad along with the Managing Committee members of CREDAI Hyderabad welcome the new property registration portal ‘Dharani’, another initiative, by the state government, to streamline the operations in the real estate sector and usher in ease of doing business. The new software is developed in Telangana under the guidance of the Chief Secretary Mr. Somesh Kumar and team. The salient features for the same were showcased to the real estate developers recently, before the portal goes live on 23rd November 2020.
The new Integrated Land Records Management System (“Dharani”), combines Land administration and Registration services which serve as a single source of truth for all land parcels and discharge all land-related functions in an integrated, efficient, and effective manner with all actions on a near real-time basis. Dharani also provides a GIS system that includes a visual representation of the land record data.
Dharani system will transform the property registration and record-keeping mechanism by providing a unique code to each property, bringing transparency, smooth processing and documentation. It will be useful for all the government departments across the state and include measures like authentication of documents by using finger prints of parties, obtaining their Aadhar and mobile phone numbers, and sending SMS/ emails & whatsApp updates. This will prevent impersonation and registration of fake documents. ‘Certified copies’ of registered documents will be provided online on payment of a fee. Also, through the new software, information related to property rights, maintained by the concerned departments, could be checked online.
According to Mr. R K Rao, President CREDAI Hyderabad, “We welcome the new online registration portal, the entire procedure related to registration of documents would be computerised. The new software, will be useful for all the government departments across the state. We sincerely thank the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri K Chandrashekar Rao for the initiative and the Chief Secretary Mr. Somesh Kumar and the team for working tirelessly and developing the portal ‘Dharani’ with meticulous planning. The Real Estate Developers in the state of Telangana, thank Mr Somesh Kumar, Chief Secretary, Telangana for taking cognizance of the fact that developers have 1000’s of documents to be executed, offering the developers bulk slots on the portal to enable them to register multiple numbers of documents at a given time. Through the portal, there is no need to visit multiple offices to register a property. Details and documents pertaining to land records can be accessed online, making it convenient. We are confident, that with the launch of the registrations on Dharani portal from 23rd November 2020, we will witness a new era in property document management in Telangana and speed up the revenue realisation for the government.”
Speaking on the new portal, Mr. V. Rajashekar Reddy, General Secretary, CREDAI Hyderabad, said “We thank Hon’ble Chief Ministrer, Shri K Chandrashekar Rao and the Chief Secretary Mr. Somesh Kumar for the integrated land record management system portal. We are sure that this portal will make the process of registration easy and will provide quality service to the citizens”
