Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghathan celebrates Constitution Day; 17.84 Lakh NYKS Officials, youth volunteers and other associated stakeholders read Preamble of Indian Constitution
New Delhi: Department of Youth Affair’s Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghathan (NYKS) celebrated Constitution Day on 26th November, 2020 with the objective to disseminate basic tenets and spirit of Indian Constitution, Fundamental Duties and the life and works of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
As a part of the above, a total of 17.84 Lakh NYKS Officials, youth volunteers and other associated stakeholders read Preamble of Indian Constitution along with President of India. Webinars/Talks on Constitutional Values and Fundamental Duties (Kartavaya Samvaad) with the participation of 4.27 Lakh youth volunteers from 81,473 villages of 623 Districts of all States/UTs were organized.
For media outreach and dissemination of messages and activities, Hashtags on #Samvidhan Diwas (Posts: 4,448 and Images:13,480) were promoted through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Website postings. Besides, a link to get a certificate after Reading Preamble of Constitution was shared among all Youth Volunteers of NYKS which they are downloading, across the country.
