A blessing to study at a school that cares for its students, says Minister Anurag Thakur at Annual Day of Apeejay School Saket

New Delhi: Shri Anurag Thakur, Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs and Minister of Information and Broadcasting who was the Chief Guest at the annual Day of Apeejay School, Saket held recently said therein, “It is really a blessing for children to study at such a school that cares about each and every requirement of its students”.
Apeejay School Saket recently organised its annual appreciation day themed around “IKIGAI- Finding Your Reason for Being”. The event witnessed the presence of many luminaries apart from Shri Thakur. Special invitees were Shri D S Negi, CEO Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Dance Maestro Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj, Music Maestro Padma Vibhushan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and renowned dance Guru Padmashree Shovana Narayan.
Dr. Neha Berlia, Co-Promoter of Apeejay Stya and Svrán Group, presided over the function.

The Principal Dr. Sujeet Eric Masih welcomed the guests and presented the school’s annual report. Citations were read out by the Head Boy, Head Girl and prefects, as the CBSE Board toppers along with other meritorious students were appreciated for their academic performance during the previous academic year. The co-curricular awards were also announced. The delightful evening unfolded creative performances, with over 400 students participating in a cultural extravaganza.
