Chennai : A.M. Jain College is thrilled to announce the successful completion of ‘Saranalayam – Mass Cleaning Programme’ at Arignar Anna Zoological Park. This initiative, led by the college, showcased the college’s unwavering commitment to environmental custodianship and engagement.
More than 200 dedicated students from A.M. Jain College’s Rotaract Club enthusiastically participated in the cleaning programme, demonstrating their passion for service and environmental conservation. Guided by zoo officials and animal keepers, these students engaged in a variety of cleaning activities aimed at preserving the natural beauty of the park.
Furthermore, the Rotary Club of Madras Central and Avenue Directors took the opportunity to honour deserving animal keepers for their remarkable service to the zoo. Their dedication to the well-being of the park’s inhabitants and the preservation of wildlife habitats underscore their deep seated commitment to environmental harmony.
