A new agreement on cooperation between PetrSU and JSC “Segezha PPM” was signed

In order to strengthen cooperation between PetrSU and Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill JSC, a new agreement was signed in connection with the expiration of the previous term.
The agreement is aimed at strengthening cooperation with the aim of improving communications between the university and JSC “Segezha PPM”, creating a unified information scientific and educational environment of PetrSU and enterprises in the field of science, education and the real sector of the economy and services, developing and implementing effective forms of cooperation between the university and the employer in training and employment of graduates at Segezha PPM.

At present, the main university of Karelia is implementing a correspondence higher education program for the personnel of Segezha PPM JSC in the following areas of training: Informatics and Computer Engineering and Technological Machines and Equipment, the issue of conducting scientific research for Segezha PPM JSC is actively being worked out in the field of disposal and processing of industrial waste. Also, the company is ready to accept students for practice with the possibility of further employment.

JSC “Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill” has been a strategic partner of PetrSU for many years and therefore joint work in the scientific and educational spheres will continue.
