A week long ATAL FAD organized
Aligarh: Department of Computer Engineering (Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology ZHCET, AMU) organised a One Week ATAL Faculty Development Program on “Enabling Technologies for Artificial Intelligence, Machine
Learning and IOT ” during 21st – 25th June, 2021in online mode.
The FDP was approved and sponsored by AICTE, Training and Learning Academy (ATAL). It was attended by 200 participants from the premium institutions of the nation. The resource persons from reputed institutions like IITs, JNU, South Asian University, Mahindra University (Hyderabad) and also from Industry delivered their talks and conducted hands on sessions.
In the inaugural session on 21st June, there was a virtual inaugural speech by Prof MM Sufyan Beg, Principal, ZHCET, who briefed the audience about the history of ZHCET and contribution of College Alumni in different fields across the globe. He also expressed his desire to continue the collaboration with ATAL in times to come.
This session was presided by Prof Pervez Mustajab, Dean, ZHCET as Chief Guest. Who expressed hope that the program would help the participants to understand the key concepts and advanced understanding on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and IOT.
Prof MN Doja, Director, IIIT Sonepat presided over the valedictory session as Chief Guest. In his address Prof Doja highlighted the importance of FDP and appreciated the participants for their successful completion. He emphasized that ATAL Academy contributed significantly to achieve the objectives of technical education in the country and to fostering research, innovation and entrepreneurship through training in various emerging areas.
Prof Sufyan Beg joined the virtual function as Guest of Honour. Participants also joined virtual session and shared live feedbacks of the program
The coordinator of the FDP, Dr Abdus Samad (Associate Professor) presented the valedictory report of the program and proposed the vote of thanks.

The certificates to the participants will be issued by ATAL through its web portal based on
their performances in the achievement test and attendance report.
