Aakash Institute students Chirag Falor and Abhinav Baranwal felicitated with Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme –‘DHRUV’

 

New Delhi: Two Students of Aakash Institute, the national leader in test preparatory services, Chirag Falor and Abhinav Baranwal have been felicitated with the Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme – ‘DHRUV’ by Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu and Hon’ble HRD Minister, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ for their excellent contribution in the field of Science and Arts.

DHRUV is a unique program to identify talented students and mentor them in the center of excellence for 14 days so that they can reach their full potential and work for the society in a better manner. The programme was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on 10th October 2019 from ISRO headquarters, Bangalore.

Congratulating Chirag and Abhinav, Mr. Aakash Chaudhry, CEO & Whole-time Director, Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) and Founder & Trustee at Plaksha University, said, “It is a matter of great pride that two students of Aakash Institute, Chirag and Abhinav have been honoured with such an award. We are delighted that the hard work put in by them has paid off. The prestigious award will further boost the morale of Aakash Institute and its students to achieve great success and heights in their lives”.

The DHRUV programme was started by the Government of India to identify and encourage talented children to enrich their skills and knowledge. DHRUV has brought together 60 talented students, 30 students from Science and 30 students from Performing Arts, from schools all across India, both government and private, who broadly belong to classes 9 to 12.

The valedictory programme held recently was the concluding programme, which includes demonstration of projects by the Science Group, a cultural performance by the Performing Arts Group and a joint choir of all 60 students, choreographed by professionals. This D-day celebrated the successful launch of the Phase-I of the Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme – ‘DHRUV’. Students of the first batch of DHRUV are entitled Dhruv Taras, as each student is presented with a special memento.
