Aalto University : Katri Seitsonen starts as Information Specialist in Research Services
Katri Seitsonen joined RES Open Science and ACRIS team in April. Her tasks include validating research outputs of the School of Electrical Engineering in Aalto University research information system ACRIS, as well as tasks related to open access publishing, open access fees and bibliometrics.
Together with Laura Mure, Katri Seitsonen handles the reporting and validating of research outputs in ACRIS for the School of Electrical Engineering. In matters related to open access fees, Katri works in collaboration with Leena Rantamäki.
Katri Seitsonen holds a MSc degree in Information Studies from University of Tampere. Katri joined Aalto University in 2013. Prior to joining Open Science and ACRIS team, Katri worked as a Planning Officer of the Doctoral Programme in Science in Aalto University’s Learning Services. In addition, Katri has worked in different administrative tasks e.g. in University of Tampere and in University of the Arts Helsinki.
On her spare time Katri heads outdoors and enjoys playing board games.
