AAS Vidyalaya, an affordable edtech school Launches Maharashtra Board content
Mumbai : AAS Vidyalaya, one of India’s leading affordable edtech school has launched Maharashtra board content in Marathi language for grades 6-10. This includes a full school curriculum for all subjects viz English, Hindi, Marathi, Maths, Science, Social Science and Computers.
The nationwide lockdown in March 2020 had sent our 250 million student population into a state of disarray and they are still facing a lot of problems. In addition to this, many students from vernacular medium in rural areas were unable to go to the school nor study online due to language restrictions. Keeping all the above challenges in mind, AAS Vidyalaya that caters into affordable learning, thought of incorporating the syllabus in the Marathi language. To make it even easier for the students the AAS Vidyalaya app is also available in Marathi language.
Commenting on the launch Mr. Vikas Kakwani, Founder AAS Vidyalaya said, “Our aim is to get education for every student and language shouldn’t be the barrier coming across their way. Each student has a right to study and by all means we are trying our best to get them the accessibility and convenience at their doorstep.”
“Additionally, we have also collaborated with Godrej (GAVL & ASTEC) and set up two AAS Vidyalaya education cafes at Godrej’s plant locations in Mahad & Miraj in Maharashtra that provides e-learning to 400+ students in these locations,” Mr. Kakwani further added.
The main goal of the organisation is to take schooling to 8.5 cr students who are not able to go to school for various reasons. The vision is ‘To make every Indian 10th Pass’. It also plans to have more than 1 lac users in the coming year and 10 lakhs in the next 2 years.
