AASHA Foundation raises INR 3 lacs via ‘Course For A Cause’ initiative to support the families of Galwan Valley martyrs
Mumbai: AASHA Foundation facilitated a trailblazing activity, ‘Course For A Cause’ in order to provide financial help to the families of the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the Galwan Valley while battling against China.
The five-day generous occasion led 5 diverse online classes on expertise building courses like dancing, sketching, baking, calligraphy, yoga & workout, from the 29th June to 3rd July. A total of 130 young kids took part in this 5-day program and learned different skills. The initiative was able to raise a fund worth INR 3 Lacs.
The program was initiated by Yashvi Lodha an extremely committed and precocious 12-year-old, a student of Class 7th from Hill Spring International School – Tardeo along with her friends Trisha Jhamb, Ishita Bharadia, Krisha Bang and Rahhya Ostwal. Hosted through Microsoft Teams, each online course was scheduled for one hour, for which interested applicants could donate some amount to the AASHA Foundation.
The learners were 6-12 years old young kids and all the proceeds are to be donated to the families of the martyrs. ‘Course For A Cause’ aims to honor the warriors who relinquished their lives in the brutal battle between India and China.
The 5-day program turned out to be successful in raising a decent amount for the mourning families. The efforts of these young children deserve respect and acknowledgment.
