ABBS School of Management Hosts Landmark 15th Annual International Conference on Peace and Conflict Management

 

ABBS School of Management recently concluded its 15th Annual International Conference, cementing its position as a leading institution in the field of peace studies and conflict management. The three-day event, brought together global experts, scholars, and industry leaders to discuss the crucial theme of “Peace Economics, Peace Science, Conflict Management and Development.

 

This year’s conference, hosted in Bangalore, was particularly significant as it focused on Conflict Prevention and Peace Management. ABBS collaborated with prestigious international partners, including the UNESCO Chair of Grenoble Ecole De Management, France, European SPES Institute, Belgium, and Binghamton University, State University of New York, among others.

 

Dr. Madhumita Chatterji, Professor  & Director of ABBS School of Management, expressed her enthusiasm about the event’s success: “This conference represents our commitment to fostering global dialogue on critical issues affecting our world today. One of the highlights was the involvement of the Mahatma Gandhi International Centre for Conflict Resolution and Management, inaugurated at ABBS in 2018. This center has been instrumental in promoting interdisciplinary research and problem-solving across business, society, and government sectors.
