ABK High School-Girls win Yog Competition

Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof Mohammad Gulrez today felicitated the students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) ABK High School-Girls for winning top prizes in the recently concluded ‘Vll-Uttar Pradesh State Yog Sports- Championship 2021’ of Uttar Pradesh Yog Sports Association.

Mini Group champions of the contest, Sadia, Garima Dhanger,Vanshika, Kashaf and Iram Jahan; overall third place winner, Urooj Mudassir and Gold Medalist of the Junior Group, Yusra Iram received prizes and special certificates.

In a motivating speech after the felicitation ceremony, the Pro Vice Chancellor motivated students to take part in more national level competitions.

“Schools in AMU are equipped with state-of-art facilities to train students for top competitions”, said Dr Saba Hasan (Vice Principal, AMU ABK High School-Girls).

The students were trained by sports teacher Shamshad Nisar.
