About the idea of ​​creating a training room

An open event was held in the Student Design Office to sum up the results of the competition for projects of a primary school simulator for the Pedagogical Innopark of PetrSU.
The competition for the projects of the primary school simulator was held on the initiative of the teachers of the Department of Theory and Methods of Primary Education Irina Vasilievna Komarova and Oksana Anatolyevna Bychkova on the basis of the Student Design Office, created in 2021 as a structural subdivision of the Pedagogical Innovation Park of PetrSU.

The competition was attended by most of the 1st and 2nd year students of the department, who creatively solved the problem of creating a model of a room (primary school class), in which it is possible to train the professional skills of a teacher of the XXI century. The idea of ​​such a simulator class allowed the students to tell about their vision of modern approaches to the training of future teachers.

Students’ projects aroused great interest among primary school teachers of educational organizations of the Republic of Karelia and students of the 11th grade of the university school in the city of Kondopoga (secondary school №8). According to teachers, such a simulator class could significantly improve the level of professional training of future teachers. And potential applicants of PetrSU expressed admiration that the ideas of students are planned to be taken into account when creating new sites for the Pedagogical Innopark.

Students whose projects aroused the greatest interest among teachers and schoolchildren were presented at the event . All participants of the competition received certificates (design: Alexander Krenitsyn, 631 gr.), And the winners – diplomas of laureates and a valuable gift.

As part of the event, a master class on interior design was held. Egor Yuryevich Permyakov, Chairman of the Board of the KRO LLC of the Union of Designers of Russia, director of ArtnavolokDesign , showed examples of design solutions and answered questions from participants in the competition.

The event ended with an excursion around the Pedagogical Innopark of PetrSU. The guests – the teachers of the schools of the Republic of Karelia – aroused particular interest in the new interiors and areas for training sessions. There were many proposals and plans for the development of cooperation with Petrozavodsk State University, new career guidance routes for Karelian schoolchildren were identified.
