ACA organizes ‘Posh Zouzraan’ cultural programme

Srinagar: The Angel’s Cultural Academy (ACA) today organized ‘Posh Zouzran’ a Drug Prevention and Covid-19 Awareness cum Cultural programme here.

The programme was organised in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages and J&K Excise Department with an aim to raise awareness regarding rapid spread of drug menace among youth and sensitise people about Covid-19 pandemic.

Former Director, Radio Kashmir, Syed Humayun Kaiser, Former Director Information, Khawaja Renzu Shah and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

At the onset of the programme, Melodies Musical Group presented Dua that has been written by Asad Anjum and composed by Syed Reyaz to implore Allah’s protection from Corona disease and drug menace.

Speaking on the occasion, Former Director, Radio Kashmir Syed Humayun Qaiser said that the cultural events play an important role in highlighting the social issues and creating awareness among people regarding them. He appreciated the ACA for organising such a programme.

The other speakers also highlighted the need to engage actively in the efforts to eradicate drug menace and motivate youth to participate in sports activities.

President, Angel’s Cultural Academy Kashmir Chapter, Tariq Ahmed Shera said that the programme has been organized to protect our young generation from drug abuse.

On the occasion, Laddishah, songs, skits were presented to bring the attention of participants towards the serious issue of drug addiction engulfing youth and the pandemic that has brought life to halt round the globe.

Meanwhile, appreciation certificates and awards were distributed among frontline Covid-19 warriors and artists.
