ACCA launches ‘The Future is in the Curriculum’ campaign to help students be future finance-ready
The global body for professional accountants, ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) has launched ‘The Future is in the Curriculum’ campaign which aims to help students be future-ready in an ever-evolving world of accounts and finance.
With the emergence of new technologies, accounting tasks are increasingly becoming automated. Young finance and accountancy professionals must not only possess all the necessary technical and communication skills, but also have the necessary knowledge to apply technology-related soultions at the workplace.
A key asset for the campaign is the acapella video which has been created by the band Aflatunes, an ensemble made up of artists from diverse backgrounds with the collective idea of making music using only vocals and without using any instruments. Aflatunes bring an unusual concept of an organic no instruments band, where the serene musicality of acapella meets the street-forged vocal art of beatbox. The video was produced by Schbang, a digital marketing agency while the overall concept for the Future is in the Curriculum campaign was conceived by creative agency, Ideas@work.
Pooja Seth, Head of Marketing- India, ACCA says, “ACCA believes this idea is a great way to communicate our campaign theme focused on getting students future-ready in an ever-evolving world of accounts and finance to the Generation Z audience. The acapella track focuses on empowering students with an optimistic lyric set, and will resonate well with Generation Z.”
The acapella video has gone live on ACCA India’s social media handles, and is also being dubbed in Malayalam and Tamil. The following is link to the acapella track:
