ACD Poonch inspects progress on RDD developmental works at Mankote, Mehndar

Mehndar: Assistant Commissioner Development Poonch, Rajesh Lakhan, today conducted an extensive tour of Mankote and Mendhar blocks to inspect the progress of the developmental works being executed there by the RDD.

Block Development Officer Mankote and other officials accompanied the ACD during the inspection.

Assistant Commissioner Development inspected the ongoing works including tractor roads, water tanks, retaining roads and various other projects.

The ACD instructed JEs to speed up the pace in the areas of their respective jurisdictions for timely completion of the developmental works.

Taking string note of poor performance of PMAY and MGNREGA works, the ACD stopped the salary of 3 Panchayat Secretaries in Mankote and also recommended the GRS for termination.

The ACD set the target for 100 percent geo tagging of MGNREGA works and Aadhaar seeding.
