Ace footballer ‘Baichung Bhutia’ shares insights at Genesis Conversation

Noida: Genesis Global School, a premier day-cum-residential school in Noida, recently organised the 12th edition of “Genesis Conversation” for students to enrich their budding minds. Under the theme “Inspiration & Perspiration- Recipe for Success”, the guest speaker Mr. Baichung Bhutia, an Indian football star, commentator and a sports icon who is known for his array of records, addressed the students with his inspiring speech. He also shared his experiences while emphasising on the significance of competitions to help improve ones game.

In his speech, Mr. Bhutia stressed on the fact that playing a sport develops team spirit and a sense of friendliness among the children. It also helps them to develop mental and physical toughness. He further added that sports​ also shape our body and make us strong and active.

During the interactive Q&A session, the students asked some very good questions such as how to pursue a career in the field of sports and importance of sports in life.

Genesis Conversations is an interactive platform where scholars get to meet eminent personalities from various fields like sports, arts, academics, etc. the one on one interaction gives the scholars a chance to air their doubts and ask questions directly to the mentioned expert.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bhutia said, ” The sports infrastructure of Genesis Global School is very good which not only helps students to gain required skills but also gives in-depth knowledge about the sports. Playing any sport makes you disciplined and teaches you leadership skills”.
