Acharya Bangalore B-School Partners with Airports Authority of India for Groundbreaking Educational Collaboration

Acharya Bangalore B-School (ABBS) is thrilled to announce a landmark partnership with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This strategic collaboration, set to span five years, is designed to elevate student engagement in the civil aviation sector by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical industry experience.

Five-Year MoU to Equip ABBS Students with Industry-Relevant Skills Through Practical Projects, Internships, and Cross-Disciplinary Learning in Civil Aviation

Under this MoU, ABBS students will gain unparalleled exposure to the aviation industry, sparking interest in civil aviation through hands-on experiences and practical learning. The key elements of this partnership include:

– Practical Exposure: Students will undertake short-duration projects related to civil aviation, enabling them to apply classroom concepts to real-world scenarios.

– Internship Programs: A structured internship program is outlined in the MoU, offering 4 to 20-week internships where students can work directly on projects at various AAI airports. These internships also feature 2-5 day familiarization workshops and site visits to provide a deep dive into the operational facets of the aviation industry.

– STEM and Non-STEM Opportunities: The program is crafted to cater to students from both STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and non-STEM fields, offering diverse learning opportunities across various disciplines.

This collaboration is particularly advantageous for educational institutions within a 25-40 km radius of AAI airports, enabling them to sign similar MoUs and extend the benefits to a broader student base.

The partnership underscores ABBS’s dedication to providing holistic educational opportunities that transcend traditional classroom learning. By merging real-world industry exposure with academic learning, ABBS continues to prepare its students to meet the demands of a dynamic job market.

“We are excited about this partnership with the Airports Authority of India. It will not only enhance our students’ academic journey but also equip them with vital industry insights and practical skills necessary to thrive in today’s competitive environment,” said Ajitesh Basani, Executive Director at ABBS.

Effective immediately, the MoU may be extended upon mutual agreement by both parties. This collaboration marks a significant stride in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry needs, ensuring ABBS students are well-prepared to excel in their future careers.
