Adamas University hosted its second edition of ADINOVA 2021
Kolkata: Adamas University, one of the best private universities in Eastern India organized its second edition of its ADINOVA fest at their campus. The annual fest helps the students to discover their unique passions and talents through mix bag of contests and competitions.
The three-day event saw participations from around 300 contestants from 22 other institutes. The participants were from cities like Pune, Punjab and other district of Bengal. There were total number of 15 events and 50 winners were announced which included some joint winners as well. There were some unique competitions like “Business Plan Competition” where students were expected to come out with strategic business ideas and plans and “Story Telling” where they had to share some unique story telling topics and content, which had an essence to influence the mass. These competitions encouraged the students to develop their overall well-being. After a prolonged period of lockdowns and after such a pandemic these activities came as a pure bliss for the students as well as the faculty. It gave them a chance to rejuvenate before a fresh start to the new session. A big pool of talents were explored through ADINOVA 2021 at Adamas University’s campus.
Speaking on this momentous occasion, Prof. Samit Ray, Chancellor, Adamas University said, “We saw a huge success with our first edition. College fests provides an opportunity for all of us to unwind and relax. It is important to come together and ideate things, which will help the students to achieve their overall wellbeing. The year 2020 saw a substantial shift in the education sector which brought in a huge impact. Through this event we aimed to give a window to the students and faculty member so that they start with new hopes this year. We at ADAMAS believe in pursuing excellence. Our objective is synonymous with our actions and we choose to prepare our students for global industry interface and influence their personalities in a positive way. We believe ADINOVA will mark its own space and it will keep on growing with every passing year with same enthusiasm.”
