ADC Tral inaugurates Block Health Mela at SDH Tral

 

PULWAMA : To sensitize people about the importance of health and wellbeing and to bring varied health facilities at the door steps of the public, a Block Health Mela was held today at SDH Tral.

Assistant Commissioner FSO, Tehsildar Tral, BMO Tral, Doctors along with other officials from CMO office and SDH Tral attended the camp.

As many as 18 stalls were installed within the premises of SDH Tral, providing facilities of Covid, Vaccination, Drugs, Eye Care, Gen Check-up, Health related tests, Golden Cards, OPD etc.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADC Said that the aim of these health melas is to educate people about various government health schemes and provide them with the best healthcare facilities at their doorsteps. He said that the efforts are on to ensure benefits of health related schemes reach every household.

The Mela witnessed overwhelming participation of locals who availed the facility of free medical OPD diagnosis, tests and free medicine.

He said through Ayushman Bharat scheme every common citizen has been empowered to avail best health care facilities not only at government hospitals but also at private hospitals free of cost.

The ADC appealed to people to register for Golden cards, avail service of Jan Aushadhi and other health schemes for their better health care and safety. He also discussed the tele consultation with the Medical Officers.

Senior doctors, staff of paramedics and technicians conducted health check-ups of patients related to Gynae, ENT, Eye, Child Health specialty, skin, general medicine, ortho, general surgery and dental check up on the occasion.

The ADC said that health related awareness scheme programs shall be held in each medical center of the Sub district to boost the healthcare system and enlighten people about government schemes for their health and treatment.
