ADDC Kishtwar listens to people’s issues at Mughalmaidan; assures quality redress of grievances
Also distributes certificates to Mason Course trainees
KISHTWAR : To address the grievances of the local people, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar, Sham Lal today presided over the weekly block Diwas programme here at TRC Mughalmaidan.
The programme was attended by several district and sectoral officers, including ACD/DPO, Sunil Bhutyal; DSWO, Zubair Ahmed Lone; Tehsildar Mughalmaidan, Nayeem Iqbal Sheikh; BDO Mughalmaidan Saima Ramzan Wani and CAO Amjad Hussain Malik, along with other sectoral officers and field functionaries of line departments besides Coordinator Bhavsar Foundation Shahid Hussain.
During the programme, local PRIs presented their demands and grievances related to healthcare, education, water, and power supply.
The demands included the issuance of ration cards to newly eligible households, new job cards, clearance of pending wage claims, augmentation of water supply, construction of bridge under NABARD, provision of free textbooks to local students, toilet facilities and staff in some schools, completion of Nicha Road, starting KV classes, land compensation for Tagood Vasdevana Road, legal heir certificates to PM Kissan beneficiaries, repair and upgrading of the school at Chaas, WWS Rahathal under JJM, and a health centre at Rahalthal.
The ADDC Kishtwar gave a patient hearing to the demands and assured the delegation that their grievances would be redressed in a time-bound manner.
Many grievances were addressed on the spot in consultation with the concerned officials of the respective departments, while the remaining demands were forwarded to the concerned quarters for immediate resolution.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC Kishtwar asked people to have faith in the administration, as it is committed to resolving the grievances of the people at their doorstep. He also encouraged people to use the online services of various departments. He also urged people to visit the Apki Zamin Apki Nigrani portal and other customer convenience portals for their benefit.
Additionally, he informed the people that legal heirs of 179 deceased PM Kissan farmers can apply online for mutation certificates. He assured people that the online system focuses on transparency and the expeditious disposal of grievances.
The ADDC appealed to parents to send their out-of-school children back to School besides encouraging eligible youth who have attained the age of 18 or 18 plus as of 1st April 2023 to register themselves as the voters in the ongoing Special Summary Revision Camps at respective polling booths or through the NVSP portal.
He also called on farmers to participate in upcoming training programs starting from 24th April 2023, under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme, aimed to educate farmers on the latest agricultural practices and techniques, which can help them increase their yield and profitability.
The ADDC in presence of other District Officers distributed completion certificates to 120 trainees who successfully completed the PMAY- Rural Mason Training in 2020 by Bhavsar Foundation.
