ADDC Kishtwar reviews arrangements for Dussehra, Ramnavmi festival

Kishtwar: Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik today reviewed the arrangements for Dussehra and Ramnavmi festival, here at meeting of officers of district administration.
The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr Harmeet Singh Mehta; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar; Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch; DySP headquarter Pardeep Kumar Sen; LDM Nasir Bhat, officials of Municipal Council, besides representatives of concerned departments..
The ADDC directed the officers of the PHE and PWD Departments to ensure proper barricading besides making adequate logistic arrangements well in time for convenience of devotees visiting the temples and shrines.
He directed the AD Fire and Emergency Services Department to keep available fire tenders.
The ADC informed that there shall be no religious processions at Chowgan ground during the festival in view of COVID pandemic. However people can visit the temples and shrines by strictly following all the guidelines issued by the District administration.
SSP Kishtwar was asked to ensure the security and safety of all the visitors.
The ADDC directed PDD and PHE to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply in temples.
The ACD and EO Municipality were tasked to ensure the hygiene and cleanliness in and around the temples.
