Aditya Group of Institutions hosts International Research Conference to foster future leaders for a rapidly evolving and advanced world

Mumbai: The 12th International Research Conference 2024 organized by Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research – Mumbai (AIMSR) and Aditya School of Business Management (ASBM), on “Shaping Future Leaders to Navigate Disruptions,” concluded successfully marking a significant milestone in the global discourse on leadership in times of uncertainty.

Inaugurated by Dr. Sunita Srivastava, Dean of Management and Director at AIMSR, the conference attracted many renowned attendees including researchers, policymakers and practitioners who engaged in lively discussions and presentations, addressing a wide range of topics on leadership and innovation. Ms. Bhavana Shah, the Deputy CEO of NK Proteins, Malaysia, delivered an energetic and insightful speech on the need for future leaders to convert their talent into strengths and sharpen their communication skills.

Mr. Yatin Shah, AIMSR alumnus and Head of Marketing and Brand Communications at Vahura, enlightened us on the difference between finite and infinite possibilities and the importance of existential flexibility. Ms. Sulekha Chandra added her insights by sharing takeaways from her book “Leadership Excellence,” launched in the presence of the Honourable Vice President of India. The discussions were followed by the launch of the Compendium, a compilation of select abstracts from across the country and abroad.

The panel discussion, moderated by Dr Sunita Srivastava, featured esteemed speakers like Dr. Dinesh Kumar Shrivastava, Professor at IIM Mumbai; Dr. Neil Sequeira, COO of Thane Cancer Hospital; and Mr. Shreyas Bhargave, Director of Technology at Capgemini. They delved into the topic “Adapting Leadership Styles to Disruptions.”

Research paper presentations were conducted in four parallel tracks, both online and offline. Mr. Vivian Lobo, Director of Academix Consultants, Brisbane, concluded the conference by discussing the qualities of great leaders and the valedictory ceremony honoured the six best research papers with awards. The conference drew participation from over 130 researchers, including corporate professionals, faculty, and students. Dr. A.S. Suresh Iyer, Director of ASBM, proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all attendees present both online and offline for their generous support.
