Aditya Mehta Foundation & Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti para-athlete students create history at the Junior & Sub Junior National para-athletics Championship 2024!
Hyderabad : The para-athlete students of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, trained at the Aditya Mehta Foundation, created history by winning 16 medals at the 13th National Junior and Sub Junior Para-Athletic Championship held between July 15th and 17th at the Shree Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore, Karnataka.
These students, hailing from the grassroots level from different parts of India, have been nurtured and trained by the dedicated teams of Aditya Mehta Foundation in association with Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV). They reside at the centre of Excellence JNV Rangareddy and train at Infinity Parasports Academy and Rehabilitation Centre of Aditya Mehta Foundation. Their hard work and determination have paid off, as they have now made their mark on the national stage, opening the path to future successes and medals.
The 9 outstanding students who brought glory at the Championship are
- Shivani (T/F-46) (JNV) Andhra Pradesh: 2 Gold Medals (Shotput, 100 meters) and 1 gold Medal in (Javelin).
- Jyoti (F-57) (JNV) Haryana: 2 Silver Medals (Shotput, Discus).
- Yashoda (T/F-47) (JNV) Chattisgarh: 1 Bronze Medal (Long Jump), and 1 Silver Medal (100 meters)
- Lokesh (F/46) (AMF, Telangana): 1 Silver Medal (Javelin) and 2 Gold Medals (Shotput & Discus)
- Pritam (F-56) (JNV) Haryana: 1 Gold Medal l(Shotput)
- Devendra (T/F-47) (JNV, Telangana): 1 Bronze Medal (Shotput) and 1 Gold Medal (Discus)
- Santosh (T/F-44) (Karnataka): 1 Bronze Medal (Discus)
- Lalram (F-44) (Assam): 1 Bronze Medal (Javelin)
- Amarjyoti (F-57) (Assam): 1 Bronze Medal (Discus)
