Admissions to B.Tech @ Amrita University

Last Date for Submission of Online Application/Registration is April 15

Amrita University has emerged as No. 1 Private University in India in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2017 announced this month by Govt. of India
Ne Delhi: Amrita University is conducting its Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE), on all-India basis, for admission to various undergraduate B.Tech programmes offered by the Amrita Schools of Engineering. The last date for submitting online application/registration is April 15.
To apply for AEEE 2017, the eligible candidates may submit application form either ONLINE or OFFLINE using printed OMR application form.

The examination will be conducted in two separate modes, namely, Computer Based Test (CBT) and Pen & Paper Mode Test (P&P). Candidates can choose either CBT or P&P mode as per their choice.

IMPORTANT DATES
Last Date for Submission of Online Application/Registration: April 15
AEEE 2017 Computer-Based Test (CBT) – ONLINE: April 20 to 23​
AEEE 2017 Pen- and Paper-Based Test: April 29 (conducted only in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka & Kerala)

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates should have the following eligibility criteria:
Age: Candidate’s shall be born on or after 1st July 1996.
Educational Qualification: A pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects.
NOTE: Those who appear for the above examination in March / April 2017 and expect to secure minimum marks as above, may also apply.

The B.Tech programs will be offered on all four campuses of the university: Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Chennai*
(*subject to approval).
