Admissions open for Vedica’s unique post-graduate programme in management practice and leadership for women
New Delhi: The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women has opened its fourth round of applications for its 18-month full-time postgraduate programme in Management Practice and Leadership. The programme integrates management practice with courses in liberal arts, thinking and communication, and personal growth to prepare women for successful careers.
Keeping in mind the ongoing lockdown in the country, Vedica Scholars will be taking applications online followed by video interviews with the candidates, so that the admission process is not affected. All interviews will be conducted virtually in light of the coronavirus pandemic with the upcoming batch slated to commence in August at the New Delhi Campus. The programme is co-founded by Anuradha Das Mathur (Yale Greenberg World Fellow, 2016) and Dr Pramath Raj Sinha (Founding Dean of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad; Founder of Ashoka University).
There is no application fee and each admitted Scholar receives the Vedica Bursary of INR 2.75 lakhs. Additionally, partial and full scholarships are available on the basis of need, merit and diversity.
Offering assured placements, Vedica Scholars from the previous batches have been successfully placed across a vast spectrum of roles and industries. The list of recruiters includes globally renowned organisations such as Google, Nestlé, KPMG, TATA Trusts, Deloitte, Airtel Payments Bank, OYO and many more. Vedica offers average salaries of INR 10+ lakhs per annum and the highest salaries go up to INR 22 lakhs per annum.
The visiting faculty at Vedica comprises some of the most reputed academicians and business leaders drawn from eminent institutions across the globe, including Stanford University, Harvard University, IIM Ahmedabad, ISB, McKinsey, Coca-Cola, ISI and many more. In addition, Vedica features a curated series of distinguished guest speakers which expose the Scholars to inspiring role models from diverse sectors and backgrounds.
One of the most unique highlights at Vedica is its ‘Shadow a Woman Leader’ module which pairs each Scholar to a successful, senior, woman professional for a period of six weeks.
