AGS Transact Technologies launches second edition of its ‘Campus Connect’ Program, a case study challenge with premier business schools
New Delhi: AGS Transact Technologies Limited (AGSTTL), a leading provider of innovative and customised payment solutions today inaugurated ‘AGS Horizon’, its flagship campus connect initiative to propel new ideas and fuel digital transformation in the world of payments. In its second edition, AGS Transact Technologies will partner with India’s leading business schools for an exciting case study challenge to nurture a futuristic mind-set, spur out-of-the-box thinking and foster leadership qualities amongst India’s future generation of leaders. The initiative gives students from the academic sphere an opportunity to engage with senior business leaders from AGSTTL to inculcate innovation thinking.
The company’s inaugural ‘Campus Connect 1.0’ in October 2019 saw an outstanding response with participation from over 700 teams and 2500 individuals from India’s renowned business institutes including NMIMS Mumbai, IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow, JBIMS Mumbai and many more.
This year, ‘AGS Horizon Campus Connect’ will bring students/future leaders together to ideate on the theme “Hyper Local Digital Market Place” (HLDM), a digital platform and an aggregator of local retail businesses. HLDM provides local merchants with an avenue to sell their products online saving them capital expenditures from maintaining an individual digital store while providing enabling to purchase goods and services online from their trusted vendor through a hassle-free digital shopping experience.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Sunil Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer – AGS Transact Technologies Limited said, “Buoyed by the success and innovative ideas received at the inaugural event, we are delighted to launch our latest edition of ‘AGS Horizon Campus Connect’. Amidst the rapidly evolving business and economic environment, industries across the board are revisiting their strategies to adapt to the ‘new normal’. As forward-thinking businesses plan their omni-channel strategies, we believe this model provides a huge opportunity for the retail industry and a relevant theme for tech savvy millennials to build, explore and delve deeper.”
The registration for the competition starts from 9th September; where all participants will be given 3-4 weeks to submit their presentations to qualify for the first round. The students can form a group of not more than three team members for the challenge. The shortlisted groups will present their case studies to the jury virtually. Based on the presentations, the finalists will be selected and will have to work on the inputs/suggestions shared by the jury members. The final presentations will be presented to the jury members at AGS Innovation Centre, Mumbai. After careful assessment of all the finalists, the jury will declare the winners of the ‘AGS Horizon Campus Connect-Second Edition’.
