AHD Ramban invites applications from farmers for establishment of Model Poultry Productivity project

Ramban: Animal Husbandry Department (AHD) Ramban, has invited the applications from farmers having experience in backyard poultry for establishing Model Innovative poultry Productivity project under Low Input Technology (LIT) birds – a centrally sponsored scheme of National Rural Livelihood Mission.

The selected beneficiaries would be provided 200 LIT birds.

The District Level Committee would select 40 beneficiaries including 28 General, 04 TSP and 08 SCSP by the draw of lots.

As per notification issued by the Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Ramban the applicant must be a permanent resident of the district. The applicant should be in the age group of 18 to 50 years and he must have ownership rights of proposed land.

The application duly recommended by their respective PRIs alongwith one passport size photograph of the beneficiary and photocopy of Domicile certificate, Bank Pass Book, AADHAR Card, Revenue record, Ration card besides Category certificate, if any must be submitted in CAHO office Ramban within ten days from the publication of the information.

As per the department, the beneficiary will have to submit an affidavit that he/she will continue the LIT bird rearing in future and not have availed the benefit from such centre or UT sponsored schemes during the last three years.
