Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2023 concluded today

The Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2023 concluded today, with education leaders resolving to work together for transforming India into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society.
The event coincided with the the 3rd anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP). Addressing the valedictory session in New Delhi, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan emphasized the commitment of the Shiksha Parivar to implement the NEP to make India a knowledge-based superpower.
He urged the education fraternity to convert this education Mahakumbh into an All India Institution and strengthen the school ecosystem.
Mr Pradhan stressed the importance of skilling in Indian languages and converting National Curriculum Framework guidelines into textbooks.
He highlighted the priority given to capacity building of teachers, with 300 institutions to be developed as centers-of-excellence from this academic year.
