Al Barkaat donates face shields to JNMC, Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh: Al Barkaat Educational Society donated 425 face shields to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) to help health professionals on the front lines in the battle against Covid-19.

“The entire world has confronted difficult times due to the health emergency; however, donations like these are making differences in how we continue to curb the virus,” said Prof Shahid Ali Siddiqui, Principal, JNMC, while thanking Al Barkaat for the noble gesture.

Prof Haris Manzoor (Medical Superintendent) and Dr Obaid Siddiqui (Deputy Medical Superintendent) said, “Since healthcare workers are already more vulnerable because they are exposed to more viral particles, they need necessary gear to safely treat patients and it is heartening to see that institutions like Al Barkaat are coming forward to help in this difficult time.”

Dr Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui Joint Secretary, Al Barkaat with Mr Wamiq and Mr Azam handed over the face shields to Prof Shahid Ali Siddiqui.

These light weighted and recyclable shields come with durable headbands and can be fully sanitized.
