Alcatel Submarine Networks (ASN) Collaborates with University of Greenwich to Empower Data Science Students

ASN is a subsidiary of Nokia, and global leader in the field of optical submarine systems with more than 750,000 km of submarine cables and optical systems deployed worldwide.

With a base in Greenwich, ASN’s contribution to the partnership shows a dedication not only to technological excellence but also to community engagement, as they will be actively participating in shaping the local educational landscape.

The partnership extends beyond financial support, aiming to maximise the expertise and resources of both organisations.

ASN will sponsor two £5k scholarships for students, as well as placement opportunities for two students through the MSc Data Science course.

Together, the goal is to provide students and the local community with opportunities for professional and personal development. This collaboration represents a shared commitment to equip students with knowledge and skills that will make them competitive in the global job market.
