Aligarh Muslim University alumna clears Advocate-on-record examination

Aligarh: An alumna of Aligarh Muslim University Ms. Sanchita Ain has cleared the Advocate-on-Record examination conducted by the Supreme Court in her first attempt. She has been practising in the Supreme Court and Delhi High Court since January 2014.

She is currently engaged with the Chamber of Mr Salman Khurshid. Ms. Sanchita has worked on leading cases like Triple Talaq, Linking of PAN with Aadhaar, 2G, Minority Status of AMU, Capitation Fee and Land Acquisition matters.

Sanchita has passed her BA LLB (Hons) and PG Diploma in Women’s Studies from AMU before receiving an LLM degree with distinction in International Human Rights Law from University of Essex.

She continues to have a close association with her alma mater and supports law students from AMU in every possible manner. She was invited to speak at AMU Alumni Meet in 2018 and had also presided as a judge at the ?Sir Syed and Surana and Surana National Criminal Law Moot Court Competition? organised by the university last year.
