Aligarh Muslim University announce admission test schedule
Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) admission tests to be held in Aligarh and other cities in November.
As per the revised schedule, the admission test for SSSC (Science), SSSC (Humanities and Commerce) and Diploma in Engineering will take place on November 1. The SSSC (Science) and the Diploma in Engineering entrance exam will be from 10:00 am to 12 noon on the day, while the test for SSSC (Humanities and Commerce) is scheduled later from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
AMU will also conduct the joint entrance test for admissions in MBA, MBA (International Business) and MBA (Islamic Banking and Finance) on November 1 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The test for admissions in the Bachelor in Education (B. Ed) course will take place from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on November 2.
On November 8, the admission tests for BSc (Hons), BCom (Hons) and BA (Hons) will be held. The BSc (Hons) and BCom (Hons) tests will begin from 10:00 am and end at 12 noon, while the BA (Hons) test is scheduled later in the day from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The university will conduct entrance exams for B Tech and B Arch courses on November 9. The B Arch (Paper II) will start in the morning from 9: 00 am to end after three hours at 12 noon; whereas B Tech and B Arch (Paper I) tests will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The BA LLB entrance exam is on November 10 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Meanwhile, the entrance exam for admissions in the Class VI and IX of various AMU run schools are scheduled on October 23 and 27 respectively from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Mr Mujib Ullah Zuberi (Controller of Examinations) said that in view of Covid19 pandemic, special measures have been taken such as increase in the number of centres, isolation rooms at all centres for students found suffering from fever and facilities for monitoring temperature.
He added that candidates are advised to wear masks and strict social distancing measures will be taken to conform to the Government of India Guidelines.
