Aligarh Muslim University: BA, B Sc, B Com entrance tests held in Aligarh, six more cities

Aligarh: Two thousand eight hundred and eighty students appeared for the entrance tests for admissions in the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) at the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), while 8159 appeared for the Bachelor of Science (BSc) entrance tests which were held from 10 am to 12 noon today. Around 13, 509 candidates had applied for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) entrance exam held from 3: 00 to 5: 00 pm.

The tests were conducted in two shifts with a hoard of precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at six centres in different parts of the country, including Aligarh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Srinagar, Patna, Kozhikode and Guwahati.

Controller of Examination, Mr Mujib Ullah Zuberi appreciated the role of faculty members and other functionaries in conducting the test in a peaceful and orderly manner.

Senior faculty members were deputed as observes and some faculty members were appointed overall In-charge at the centres located outside Aligarh to supervise the smooth conduct of admission test. AMU officials also visited the various test centres in Aligarh.

Special help camps were organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) of the University at important places to provide guidance to the candidates. The parents of candidates appreciated the efforts of the University authorities in providing help in the smooth conduct of the test.
