Aligarh Muslim University conducts Class 1 entrance test

Aligarh: Amidst with AMU- provided sensitizers and other precaution measures, four thousand four hundred and sixty three candidates appeared for the Class I entrance test held on Sunday at six different centres in the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for admissions in various University run schools. The test took place from 10: 00 am to 12 noon.

“A total of 4829 had applied to appear in the entrance test,” said Mr Mujib Ullah Zuberi (Controller of Examination).

He added: “Six hundred and ninety three candidates appeared at the STS School Centre, 692 students gave the test at the AMU City School, 1181 candidates appeared at the AMU Girls School, 724 students were present at Sayyid Hamid Senior Secondary School-Boys, 569 appeared for the test at Senior Secondary School-Girls and 604 candidates gave the test at AMU ABK High School-Boys.”

Faculty members were appointed as observers at the centres to supervise the smooth conduct of admission test, said Prof Asfar Ali Khan, Director, Directorate of Education.

He visited all the centres allotted for the test and met with the parents of the candidates.
