Aligarh Muslim University constituted Committee for possible cases of COVID-19

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor has constituted a committee to work out a contingency plan, including quarantine facilities, to deal with the COVID-19 cases if they occur in the university hostels and residential colonies.

AMU Registrar Mr. Abdul Hamid (IPS) is the Convener committee while other members include Prof. Mujahid Beg Dean Students’ Welfare, Prof. Wasim Ali Proctor, Prof. Shahid A. Siddiqui Principal, J N Medical College, EC members Prof Aftab Alam and Prof Najam Khalique and Secretary, AMU Teachers’ Association, Prof Najmul Islam.

The Committee has been asked to submit its report within seven days.
