Aligarh Muslim University: Dept of Medicine starts telemed services

Aligarh: The Department of Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has started free-of-cost, telemedicine OPD services from 10:00 to 12 noon daily, barring Sundays. The doctors can be contacted through phone calls on the numbers, 2721113, 2721114, 2721870 and 2721871 and extension or exchange number, 7240.

Prof Mujahid Beg, Dr Husaini S Haider Mehdi and Dr Prakhar Kumar will consult the patients on Mondays; Prof Shadab Ahmad Khan, Dr Ruhi Khan and Dr Rizwan Ahmad will be available on Tuesdays; Prof S F Haque, Dr M Aslam and Dr M Uwais Ashraf will attend the patients on Wednesdays; Prof M Shoiab Zaheer and Dr S Hasan Amir will consult on Thursdays; Dr S M Kamil Ashraf and Dr Rizwan Ahmad will attend calls of patients on Fridays and Dr Lubna Zafar and Dr Waleem Ahmad will be available on Saturdays. Senior and junior resident doctors are also deployed for telemedicine services.
