Aligarh Muslim University: Girls outshine boys in Class XII exam

 

Aligarh : Girls outshined boys in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination Part-II (Class XII) 2021 of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

As per the result declared by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Haneen scored 498 out of 500 marks in Science stream while Samar Sabri scored 494 out of 500 in Arts and Social Science. Riya Goyal scored 492 out of 500 in Commerce.

The University had declared the result of its Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination Part-II (Class XII), 2021, on Friday. The result has been uploaded on official website, www.amucontrollerexams.com.

A total of 2996 students appeared with 2954 students passing the exam. A total of 98.59% students have cleared the Class XII examinations.

Controller of Examinations, Mr M U Zuberi, while declaring the result, informed, “1718 boys and 1278 girls appeared for the examination, amongst them 1690 boys and 1264 girls have passed their exam”.

Appreciating the performance of students, AMU Vice Chancellor Prof Tariq Mansoor lauded their efforts and stressed that the hard work of students should be appreciated for excelling in the examinations in these turbulent times. He has also wished them success for future endeavours.
