Aligarh Muslim University: Law Society Competition winners

Aligarh: Pallavi Narwar (Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala) and Rudra Shandilya Damodaram Sanjivayya (National Law University, Visakhapatnam) were declared the winner and runner up respectively of Legal CV Drafting Competition; while Varalika Mendiratta (Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University) and Aliza Shahid (Glocal University, Saharanpur) secured the first and second position respectively in the Article Writing Competition organised by the Law Society, Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) to mark the centenary year of AMU.

In other competitions to observe the centenary year, Mohammad Asad (AMU) won the Statement of Purpose Writing Competition and Arshiya Bano (AMU) finished second. Shifa Qureshi (AMU) and Umesh Verma (Central India College of Law, Nagpur) bagged the first and second prizes respectively in the Case Comment Writing Competition.

“The winners will be awarded certificates with a cash prize of Rs 600 and the runner ups will receive Rs 400,” said Prof Shakeel Samdani, Dean, Faculty of Law.

Abdullah Samdani, Secretary, Law Society announced the names of the winners on a video conference platform. Over 500 students from across the country participated in the competitions.
