Aligarh Muslim University organized a 5-day Faculty Development Programme held on data sciences

Aligarh: The Department of Computer Science, Aligarh Muslim University organized a 5-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Data Sciences” in collaboration with the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy, New Delhi.

Addressing on the occasion, Professor Zaheeruddin, Pro-Vice Chancellor said Data Sciences is a new specialized area of knowledge sharing and professionals working in this area are the most sought after individuals in current job scenario.

Professor Rafiqul Zaman Khan (Chairman, Department of Computer Science and Convener) underlined the benefits of learning Data Sciences for academicians and researchers. He said the main objective of the online FDP is to offer a forum to the participants to discuss the recent advances in data sciences.

Dr Mohammad Sajid (Coordinator) said the programme will provide opportunities to discuss issues pertaining to knowledge sharing, which is useful for effective teaching and learning.

Dr Faisal Anwer and Dr Mohammad Nadeem were the Co-coordinators of the programme.
