Aligarh Muslim University organized Hands-on training programme
Aligarh: The University Women’s Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University organized a hands-on-training programme to benefit students, interior decorators, designers, architects and artists who are working digitally.
Delivering a lecture on “Contemporary Perspectives of Interior Designing and Decoration”, the resource person, Architect Mohammad Amir Khan (Department of Architecture, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi) discussed tools and techniques for interior decorators, interior designers, architects and artists relying on it. He said the Mood Board gives a quick idea of our interiors in a short period of time. He also talked about the contemporary perspectives of interior designing and decoration and its importance in today’s world.
Dr Salma Shaheen (Principal, University Women’s Polytechnic and Convener) welcomed the participants and introduced the theme of the training programme highlighting its objectives.
More than 110 participants from Women’s Polytechnic, University Boy’s Polytechnic, Department of Architecture, ZHCET, Women’s College, Community College, Career Planning Centre and Department of Fine Arts attended the training programme.
Dr Sheeba Manzoor (Co-convener) introduced the resource person. Mrs Hina Nawaz (Organizing Secretary) conducted the session and presented the concluding remarks while Mrs Fauzia Khan (Coordinator) proposed a vote of thanks.
