Aligarh Muslim University: Plantation drive launched to mark World Environment Day

Aligarh: To mark the World Environment Day, a plantation drive was held at Dr ZA Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University. The drive held with the theme “Time for Nature” was aimed at encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect the environment.

Prof R K Tewari (Principal of the College), Prof SS Ahmed, Dr Arbab, Dr Pakaj Kharade, Dr Neha and Dr Nasir Salati participated in the plantation drive with special focus on cleanliness measures.

A similar drive was held at Dr B R Ambedkar Hall of residence. Provost, Prof Hashmat Ali Khan and the wardens took part in the drive and planted saplings in the hall premises.
