Aligarh Muslim University starts new courses

Aligarh: Even as the Covid 19 outbreak halted functioning of higher centres of learning all over the country, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) started several new courses such as B Tech (Food Technology), M Tech (Robotic Engineering), M Tech (Artificial Intelligence), M Tech (Earthquake Engineering and Disaster Management) and four new postgraduate courses in Unani Medicine, said the Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor, while addressing the gathering on the Independence Day.

“A college of Nursing, Para Medical College, Institute of Pharmacy and a Centre for Green and Renewable Energy will be established,” said the Vice Chancellor. Meanwhile, one hundred crores Rupees have been sanctioned for the Malappuram and Murshidabad centres of the university, said Prof Mansoor.
