Aligarh Muslim University to remain close from Saturday to Monday

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University and all its offices will remain open from Tuesday to Friday until May 15 or till further orders. From Saturday to Monday, all university offices will remain closed as per the lockdown announced by the Uttar Pradesh government following a big surge in the COVID cases.

According to a notification issued by the Registrar, Mr Abdul Hamid (IPS), this decision has been taken in view of the advisory of the Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Home (Government of India), and directives issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
