Aligarh Muslim University to remain closed during lockdown in September

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University campus in Aligarh will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday during the month of September 2020, following an advisory issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in connection with the prevention of COVID 19.

According to a notification by the Registrar, Mr Abdul Hamid (IPS), the essential services including medical services, sanitation, electricity, water supply, residential hall services, Central Automobile Workshop, Telephone Department, Central Administrative Offices, Proctor?s Office, Computer Centre, AMU Gas Agency etc will continue to work as per the direction of the heads of the concerned department or office.
